Green Decade Newton has been receiving requests from residents, who are eager to learn more about available solar energy options. Our organization is encouraging residents to wait until March 2013 when we will know if Newton is accepted as a partner in the Solarize Discount Program. Many solar companies offer preliminary site assessments by phone, and free site visits to your home, so in the meantime, you may start learning about the process. Please note, it does not include all of the solar companies doing business in the Newton area, so keep doing research and be sure to request several opinions.
